The Platform

Turning your ideas into action

Three pillars I will focus on this year.

01

Turning Your Ideas Into Action

The president isn't meant to have all the ideas. I'll make sure yours are able to soar.

The president isn't supposed to have the best ideas. The president is supposed to represent the students who do.

We're all walking into a new school environment this year. I'd rather build the agenda with you than guess at it over the summer.

What that looks like

  • Push for a larger student voice in how class decisions get made
  • Run a digital suggestion box that's open all year, not just during campaign week
  • Collect feedback after field trips and major events, while people still remember them
  • Bring recurring student concerns to SGA instead of letting them dissolve in group chats
  • Communicate back what was raised — and what came of it
  • Explore honestly what can and can't realistically be done, and say which is which
02

It's about the journey.

Make class memories that'll last a lifetime.

What that looks like

  • Advocate for more class events across the year
  • Help create low-cost on-campus activities that don't depend on anyone's budget
  • Work with SGA on class traditions the Class of 2028 can actually keep
  • Push for spirit initiatives that more than one friend group cares about
  • Represent students in scheduling so events land when people can actually come
03

Find Your Flight Path

Ensure that juniors have college and career guidance every step of the way.

These are things I want to advocate for and explore with students and SGA, not programs I can promise on my own.

What that looks like

  • Explore a career fair built around what this class is actually interested in
  • Push for “Day in the Life” events and career panels
  • Work with SGA to invite professionals to campus
  • Help create space for pre-professional exploration

Flight Path

Fields people in this class have already named

  • Law
  • Medicine
  • Dentistry
  • Education
  • Business
  • Psychology
  • Engineering
  • + whatever you tell us

Not promises — ideas

Things worth exploring, if you want them

Everything in this box depends on student interest, school approval and whether it's actually feasible. It is deliberately kept separate from the commitments above.

  • School / class merchandise
  • Special class events
  • Food or drink events
  • Career fairs
  • More student organizations
  • Spirit initiatives
  • Student collaborations

One more thing

I'll do the work. I'd also like to be your friend.

I'm ready to do whatever the job actually takes, including the parts nobody sees. Filling out the forms, sending the follow-ups, showing up to the meetings, asking again when the first answer is no. If it needs doing, I'll do it.

I also don't want to be someone you only hear from during election week. If something is bothering you, or you have an idea, or you just want to know whether anything ever came of the thing you mentioned, tell me. You don't need a reason and you don't need to be careful with me.

However you like

The agenda isn't finished on purpose.

Tell me what's missing from this page and it goes on the list.
